Drunk driver gets stuck on tracks on Valchařská
Valchařská Street in Brno-sever will be closed for half a year. If only the 41-year-old driver who tried to drive over the tram tracks there on Saturday night had known that! Photo: MP Brno
Brno, Apr 17 (BD) -On Saturday night, a driver passed several no entry signs and got stuck on the dismantled tram tracks on Valchařská Street.
Not long afterward, a man standing nearby the vehicle was noticed by a metropolitan police patrol, according to an official press release from Brno Metropolitan Police.
The 41-year-old man admitted to the police officers that he had been driving the car. Because his breath smelt of alcohol, they administered a breath test.
The officers found that he had a high blood alcohol content and handed him to the national police, the official press release specified.
