Update: Brno, Jan 28, 14:30 (BD) – The suspected case of coronavirus in a patient hospitalized in Uherské Hradiště has come back negative following tests, according to the Zlín Regional Hygiene Station.

Brno, Jan 27 (BD) – A patient who recently returned from China is being investigated as a suspected case of coronavirus by Kromeriz Hospital, according to hospital spokesman Egon Havrlant.
Medics have moved the man to the infectious diseases department in Uherske Hradiste, and blood samples have been sent to a specialized laboratory.
The virus is believed to have originated in a live animal market in the Chinese city of Wuhan, and has since been found in several countries.
As of January 26th, the death toll of the recent outbreak stands at 80, all of them in China.
