Petr Zelenka’s “Modeler” Premiered in Brno’s Kino Scala Yesterday

Five years after his last film Lost in Munich [“Ztraceni v Mnichově”], Czech screenwriter and director Petr Zelenka is back with a new film, mainly filmed in various locations around Brno and the South Moravian Region. “The South Moravian Film Fund made a significant contribution to the production of film, so we shot part of it in Brno, where we discovered many beautiful locations. Brno has a lot to offer in terms of locations,” said director Petr Zelenka. Filming took place in Brno in June last year, at locations including Zelný trh, Brno fairground, the bridge near Veveří Castle, and Slavkov Chateau.

In “Modeler” [“Modelář”], Zelenka takes the audience into the world of a drone rental company. The main roles are played by famous Czech actors from the young generation: Kryštof Hádek and Jiří Mádl.

The premiere screening took place at Kino Scala yesterday, and the film will be on general release in Czech cinemas from February 6th.
