Brno, Feb 4 (BD) – In some parts of the South Moravian Region (Blanensko, Znojemsko), trees fell across roads, blocking routes for drivers last night and this morning.

The South Moravian Fire Department reported 32 such incidents by 10:00 AM.

Residents are advised to secure windows, doors, loose objects, greenhouses, and anything else which may be at risk of damage. Take extra caution when moving outdoors and driving vehicles. Avoid hikes in the mountains and avoid ridge areas in particular.
