Czech Rep., Sep 13 (BD) – Following new changes by the Health Ministry approved on Friday, school activities have been exempted from some emergency measures against the pandemic of Covid-19, as of today.

“In cooperation with the Ministry of Education, we have simplified the conditions for school students,” said Health Minister Adam Vojtěch. “Thus, participants in school activities such as swimming training will not have to prove non-infectivity. In simple terms, if pupils go to swim, for example, they will not have to present proof of vaccination, testing, or prior illness (OTN).”

Thus, activities at indoor sports grounds and swimming pools will be removed from the obligation to prove OTN and compliance with social distancing, when part of physical education lessons for pupils at the same school. In the case of university education and examinations, students will not have to present proof of OTN, unless for educational events and examinations that are outside the university.

The government has also adjusted emergency testing measures in social and health services. The circle of providers obliged to perform testing of their employees and patients will from today expand to include inpatient care providers. The first testing will be performed by next Monday.
