Náměstí Svobody in the center of Brno has a new “landmark” since Monday, September 27th. The four-meter installation in the shape of a number one draws attention to the waste of disposable packaging. Photo Credit: GM / BD.

Brno, Sep 29, (BD) – The steel installation in the shape of a number one encourages us to reflect how much waste we produce in one day. The work of art was created in cooperation with the City of Brno and SAKO Brno on the initiative of two students of Brno’s Newton University, Jan Pavelka and Vojtěch Toman.

There is no text on the installation, just a QR code with which people can load a video.

The installation will stand in Náměstí Svobody until Sunday, October 3rd.
